When I published my novel, I remember my publisher asking me how I planned to market my book. I believe my exact words were, I dunno, on my social media?
Their response was- maybe you should have a book launch with all your friends. I laughed and said, isn’t that the opposite of my life choice here? Writer recluse! My friends are in my head (thanks Kurt cobain)
But now, two years later, I’m proud to say I’ve tried all types of different approaches but my favourite by far is running a book sales table at artisan markets.
These people are my people! Creative minds are so open and happy to accept everyone, and support and love every sale and never be sad if we all hang out in the bloody heat for 10 hours without a single sale. We still all pack up and leave at the end of the day with a smile on our faces 😁
So check out my upcoming book tables, make a plan to come down and check it out! Or see below for links on where to easily purchase my YA Fantasy novel online. But I promise you, artisan markets are the better way to go 😉 There’s always lots of really great peeps there selling really neat handmade things!
Lots of gratitude,
Norma Rrae
