Writing is teaching in the way that I write how a situation plays out, even if it’s aliens in space, and it teaches you what I envisioned an alien in space would do, in that situation.
But writing is also teaching because the only way to learn how to write is to read and study and listen and absorb so it’s only natural for people, writers or non-writers, to ask questions.
“Where did the idea for that story come from?”
“How long did it take to write that story?”
“How do you write poetry?”
So no matter which way you look at it, writing is teaching. Which is funny because when I went for my first Reiki healing, I was told then I was a teaching meant to spread knowledge. I thought- no way, I can hardly manage my own four kids I couldn’t imagine teaching a classroom of forty.
But there again, is the fact that writing is teaching. Because from that Reiki healing, I went and bought my first laptop and have been writing consistently since. So I’m teaching my children consistency, goal setting and accomplishment.
And I’m also teaching my followers how I view a situation, such as aliens in space.
Therefore it only makes sense I should share an amazing teacher with you that I’ve been listening to her podcasts for some time now and she is so very wise in how to structure story!
I try to teach imagination and pushing it, but this lady- she teaches how to form it.

She has a website and books and podcast and more, so I’m sure she’s easy enough to find. Her podcast is called Helping Writers become Authors.
Keep reading, keep learning,
