I love this debate!
And these are the things I think.
As an author- “What an amazing idea I had! I can’t wait to write about it and I think about it all day including while I poop!”
As a writer- “I hate this story. Its horrible. I can never compete with the authors out there.”
As an author- “Oh what a good sentence I just made. Okay I like this story again.”
As a writer- “i need at least 20,000 more words for this to be considered a novel.”
As an author- “ I want to write for the rest of my life.”
As a writer- “I hate it, I want to burn I should quit, it’s a waste of my time.”
As an author- “What a beautiful hobby I have, I can research, read everything, write anything and sit on my ass all day long! How lucky I am!”
