There’s so much snow in my backyard, I can’t even fathom how long it will take to melt, especially since it’s due to snow another 10-15cm tomorrow which includes dumping up to 4cm at a time during the worst parts!

All while the rest of the town whines about the snow, yes I want it gone too, but we live in an area that snows 7 months of the year so to embrace the clean white stuff, just makes more sense.

Just like the days I don’t feel the will to write a single word, I embrace it as my mind needs a break. I don’t know when the snow will melt and I don’t know when the writing bug will crawl in my ear once more, but for now I watch movies and decompress. I definitely don’t force the words, because then it’s just not enjoyable. And then what’s the point if I’m not enjoying it? Then- I would just be miserable looking at the snow waiting for it to melt.

Much patience,

Norma Rrae

  1. That the spirit. Don’t let it annoy you. It’s indifferent to you. But embrace it. It’s there and it is there for delight you, if you’ll let it
