The countdown is on until my first concert in near a decade and it’s KoRn. I’m so excited!!!!!! Because, it’s a throwback to my childhood. Because it sings to who I am behind this professional exterior- a dark fantasy imaginer!
Because most people don’t know what I’ve gone through, lived through, experienced but I don’t need to paste it on my forehead. I only need to move forward and insist on continuously changing, learning from my past and present so I can creature a future I’m proud of.
And in honour of the numerous people in my professional adult life that have commented “they’re surprised I listen to that music” or “surprised I watch horror” maybe I should send them some of my poems!
