Writing has its hard days too. And today, I feel deflated. My story was submitted and it wasn’t done but the deadline was here. I submitted knowing it’s not good enough and will need at least one more good edit, but these last few months- I’ve only been able to write in such short stints.

Apologies this downer post is following my happy New York post, but that’s life.

And happiness wouldn’t feel like happiness unless sadness balanced it, and today feels sad.

I want to put more focus into my writing, I want to pump out beautifully crafted stories and social media posts, but some days all I can manage is showing up and making a semi sympathy party blog post. So oh well, here’s a picture of my doggie, who helps me through the harder days. Guess I’ll make a banana smoothie, watch Netflix and give her a nice brush 🤗

Shiny side up,

Norma Rrae

  1. Hey. It’s OK. You have words still to build. To craft to try again. Remember this is a play thing. A toy to toy with. When you’re ready to play again it’s all where you put it down to pick back up.

    Nice pup.
